Functions and Services

The Auditing Association acts both in the interest of the Deposit Protection Fund and on behalf of the German Banks Compensation Scheme.

Functions in the interest of the Deposit Protection Fund are established in the Articles of Auditing Association. These specifically include the performance of deposit protection audits, the handling of admission and ownership control procedures as well as management activities.

In accordance with the provisions of the Deposit Guarantee and Investor Compensation Act, the Auditing Association also performs audits for the German Banks’ Compensation Scheme.

The range of audit functions and services is completed by specialist and association work.
